Oh Healthy Oatmeal

Oh Healthy Oatmeal, I count on you to help me.
You take the place of the grossly prune juice.
Now I see why those of old kept you close.
Long is the week without you in the cupboard.
The wait grows long with much bloated roundness.
I'm trying to get rid of my bloated enemy.
My diet drinks don't help
Nor healthy nuts with protein.
Oh Healthy Oatmeal
Oh Healthy Oh Healthy Oatmeal
Oh Healthy Oatmeal
Oh Healthy Oatmeal!

Words by Angi from Kitchen Hospitality

If you haven't learned the appreciation of eating oatmeal faithfully, someday you will. I heard a true story once of a lady, broke and unable to buy groceries. All she could afford was oatmeal. She ate oatmeal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a month. Previous to her poor grocery status, she had become extremely ill. Of course, she didn't have money to see a doctor for her health problem. After that month of eating oatmeal, her health greatly improved. The oatmeal had done its healthy job.

I mentioned in a previous post of my intention to eat oatmeal every day this week. Yesterday I even ate my oatmeal in the afternoon. Whenever you eat it, it tastes good and is good for you.

Come back soon. I love visits from my followers and from new acquaintances, too. Have a healthy day!

Thank you for sharing! I used to have oatmeal every morning. I should start back with it.
